Compared to all the other games out, i dont see anything that comes close.

im not much of a gamer anymore, so a game has to be something special for me to play it.

the cod series does that for me, and cod4 took the series to a different level.

Something special ? You should take a look at Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.

Now THAT is a FPS which is certainly not generic. Modern Warfare 2 has nothing new, just a well designed,polished, and presented FPS. Nothing more.

Yea, I didn't really see any game bashing here...unless an opinion is considered bashing.

I'm with DPG991 on this. CoD4 was great because it was new (gameplay, theme, engine) CoD5 was good, but just another CoD game and another repeat. This one also looks to be another repeat...it's nothing new. For some people that's fine, for others...they'll pass. My only hope is that IW is taking the reigns and they make better games than the studios that rehash their stuff.

It's all about the multi-player for me, I'm not much of a campaign fan, I just like to kill stuff =)
