LAN Age of empires was working fine but now it says..

A network cable is unplugged. Ive reconnected both and its plugged in and it just happened out of no where and this has been working for atleast 6 months and i cant figure out the problem... anyone know what might be the case?

anyone update to a different verrsion, firewall and virus progams can interfere, ping the other cps to see if the connection is blocked, check your ports to make sure there open.
