Did anyone else find Left4dead kind of boring after an hour or so?

Nope, I played L4D for like a year straight. Boring without friends though... L4D2 came out with another big game and friends were on that instead. L4D2 was better, but didn't stick around with it as long as L4D1.

I never played the first but the second will be in my top ten this generation. It is one of the few that I actually bought the DLC for.

I was disappointed in the lack of support for the previous Aliens Vs Predator game Sega published.. I wonder if this one will do any better..

It was an ok game. It definitely had it's charms. Some people love it. Not really for me though.

I LOVED both L4D and L4D2. My gf loved watching the single-player campaign because she likes horror movies, and the multiplayer - even with randoms - was almost always fun and very much free of the usual bottom-feeders who haunt Xbox Live. And I played all the DLC for both. I really love that Valve's most recent DLC for L4D2 includes all the L4D levels. Basically, it's 500-odd Microsoft points for DLC and the entirety of L4D. That's pretty rad.
