Music:

artist/ablum/song

Movies:

Year/Title

Its pretty simple to find what i want.

My server is setup like this.

Drive 1 is a 1TB split into 2 partitions. 1 80GB and the rest free.
80GB = Windows
920GB Music folder / TV Shows / Digital Books

Music:
Artist / Album (plus cover art) / song list

TV Shows:
Title / Season / Episodes

eBooks:
Title / File (plus cover art)

Drive 2 (2TB) = Movies (also contains my incoming folder, and converted movie folder)
Movies:
Name (quality and year) / File + Cover Art (if possible)

Drive 3 (2TB) = Games / Apps / Steam Folder
Games are ISO's inside a Game folder
Apps:
Name / App plus any other file associated with it

All of my drives are almost full so I plan on adding another 2TB to the mix sometime soon. I also have other stuff on there too, but can't talk about the other stuff on the forums.

I have a 1.5TB drive full dedicated to HD Movies... Named HD movies, and i just stick them in there... No organization other than by name
Music is the same way as most here.... /music/artist/album/song.mp3 (never got the appeal of .flac... 320kbps .mp3 sounds good enough to me )
TV shows has a 1TB drive dedicated to it... TV Shows/show name/episode name - episode number.avi
SD movies has a 1.5TB drive dedicated to them... Same organization as HD Movies, just in a folder if there are more than one... /Saw Movies/, /Terminator/, etc, etc

Pictures are categorized by date, stuck into folders by year then month... If i cant find a day or year or month... I stick them into a large folder named Random

my music is just sort
\Music\Artist\Album Name\Song.

I have no need to make it any more complicated.
