Let me start off by saying: Please excuse my noobness.
My xfi recently died. Again. So I decided to upgrade to a Claro Halo XT
While I do notice a huge difference in audio quality with my headphones. I need to find some speakers now. I have one five year old 5.1 system from bestbuy. Think of it as the typical (three green/black/orange or front/rear/sub cables.) Such as What most people usual use. However, my card wants me to plug each speaker directly into soundcard. Rather than use those three cables. When I do, the volume is terrible. I suppose since I'm not going from speakers > into subwoofer > from subwoofer into card.
Any advise on how to get these to work? Or do I need to make the switch to an optical setup?
