I have an ATI Radeon 92oo and i wanted to hook it up to my tv but it is a little too far away..however, the vcr is in perfect distance so i was wondering how i would go about connecting my tv/out to the VCR so that i can see my desktop on my TV. I am using a RCA cord and have already tried hooking up my VCR with no luck. I have, however, hooked up mt tv/out directly to my tv but this is a major inconvenience and would make more sence to go throught the VCR. Thanks.

The Video out/Sound out from your pc need to go into the Video In/Sound In in your VCR.
Set your TV to receive the VCR's input and that should take care of it.

Do i need to connect the VCR to the TV as well?

ROFL!

As preet says, for gods sake, of course man.

If your VCR has a S-vid in and any other out option to connect to your TV youre set.

you can also get a video RF box that will wirelessly transmit the video & sounds to your TV. not sure how much those are, they would be in a home audio/ video section of a store, not compter section.

someone did a presentation on this. i think the max speed was 11Mbps, plenty as watching a full version DVD (not rips) is about 3Mbps.
