how do u check "auto properties"?

you have speaker icon in your quick start option right click mouse and then on open volume controle. checki if all mute is off. or control panel (sound, speech...) and then adjust system volume.

Also, I did check my Volume options and my sounds are turned up, and they are not muted. FYI I tested this with my speakers and headphones. My specs are:
