Hi, IÂ’m new here and IÂ’m trying to connect my hifi to my pc so it plays music out of both the pc speakers as well as the hifi speakers. Is this possible and if it is then how? I have a RCA to headphone cable but don't have a clue what to do. Help would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you saying that you want your computer's sounds and music to come out both the HiFi AND your computers speakers? Or you want your HiFi's music to come out the HiFi speakers AND the computer speakers?

You could probably do it with a Y-adapter. Depending on the cables you have, you could use something like this:

If you've got a radioshack around, go to one and browse for y adapters like this one and see which one would work best for you with the cables you have.

that works too. Only problem with that is that the aux out needs to be line level. If not, then the input to the pc speakers will be too much and will cause distortion.

I find this ever so confusing even though I spend 24/7 on a computer. Here's the Micro HiFi I have... (shut up I know it's crap) http://www.digitalempireonline.co.uk/default.asp?Detail=Yes&ModelID=406 If this isn't possible I might just buy a good set of speakers made for use with a pc. Thanks
