Digital Cameras...

Ok, I didn't think that this would fit in the comp audio section, but if it doesn't belong here, please move it.
Anyway, I am a dunce at digital cameras, and I have no clue as to which are good and which stink. So I would like to get one, but I don't want it to be the best nor the worst. Also, I do not want to spend over $200. Please give suggestions and/or links. Thanks all!!!

I have a Pentax Optio S40 that I am in love with. I think it goes for $299, but you might be able to find it online for less. It's really small and it has an aluminum case so it's pretty durable. And it uses two AA batteries, so you can take it almost anywhere and not have to worry about battery life because you can always buy more batteries.
