I'm trying to convert this .avi file to a .wmv, but i get terrible audio lag when the final product is done. Also, if I try converting the .avi onto a dvd and into video-ts and audio-ts (for dvd player) I get the same 3-4 second audio lag.
I've tried a number of demuxing programs NONE have worked since my file (the .avi) uses an odd divx format, dx50 i believe.
TMPGEnc XPress v3 was recommended to me, but it costs money and the trial would end within 30 minutes of use...
Ultimately I want to get this video onto a dvd for a home dvd player.

I am converting (again) the .avi into a .wmv in hopes of finding a audio sync program to fix the lag. Is there any?....help me lol....:p

EDIT: not .wav. I meant .WMV

Well, maybe. I tried demuxing (i believe thats the term lol) the audio and video into two files, but that never even started to work because NO programs will split/work with the dx50 codec.
I really just want this to convert to .wmv and be able to fix the audio lag. OR be able to convert the .avi right onto a dvd for playback with no audio lag.

.WMV....sorry. I don't know why I've been saying ".wav"
