My speakers are a 5.1 setup, Frisby FS-5015. For about 2 weeks they worked perfectly then all of a sudden one day I boot up my computer and I get this really deep hum from the speakers. Looking at the equalizer for my sound drivers it appears to be spiking a large amount at 50hz and then small spikes between 70hz and 210hz about.
The system plugs in each speaker with an RCA cable to the subwoofer, then the output is 3 sets of cables. Front , Rear , Center/Sub. These are 2 cables in each set that connect to RCA plugs that go from Red / White RCA to green stereo "headphone" type plugs.
I've tried plugging the speakers into my UPS, into an extension cord into a wall socket and into a surge protector and nothing changes. Is there anything else I can trouble shoot or does anyone know of a way to fix this?
