Camcorder to Digital Conversion Dilemma

HereÂ’s the problem. I have an analog camcorder that records on 8mm cassettes. However, I want to make DVDs so I want to take all the recordings on those 8mm cassettes and convert them into digital by putting them onto my computer. The camcorder, however, is broken so I canÂ’t use that.

Is there any other way I can convert the home movies from the 8mm cassettes into my computer?
