that was true 4-5 years ago. that is absolutely, positivity not true now. + is more compatible now (Manufacturer's make dvd to be more compatible with +r, because that is the direction the future is heading) and + has has always been superior to backing up data (udf 2.00 and udf 2.01). -r is more more compatible to old a$$ dvd players.
