Merge 2 Access Databases?

i have found i very confusing article on how to merge microsoft access databases. our office has set up 2 databases on 2 computers and they contain overlapping data.

can someone please explain to me in simple terms how i can merge the data from these 2 databases into a single database? my knowledge of access is limited.

What version of Access are you using?

access 2000. but i have heard you can convert 97 to 2000 so it should not be a problem. if we need office 2003 they will gladly get it. our database would be a big hassle to re-organize without having a program automatically merge them. if you can help , that would be wonderful

Im not really sure off the top of my head to do it. I'll look into it and tell ya how you can merge databases asap.

I think I know how to merge two databases, you have to open both databases, then do some thing with the mail merge.

well that was kinda delayed, but i think you are talking about outlooks merge option, i was going to try this too.
