I downloaded the Java program from jGRASP Home Page, but I can't find a complier for it. Can some please tell me where to find and download a complier and how to install it on my computer thanks?

The self-extracting is probably the easiest to get going with, if you didn't get that... but regardless, you need the Java Development Kit (runtime and compiler) from Sun's website, the "JDK 6 Update 2" file, then you should be set!
(Without the JDK you won't be able to do anything with jGRASP.)

LOL, I asked this question 10 years ago, thank the lord for Java for dummies, but hey, at least you replied, thanks. Yeah, I decided to bust the book just to read it and bam!!!!!, it told me step by step, but thanks anyway, that doesn't have all the answers so i'll be back in the future.
