i just tried to join but the user name/team number window just acts funny and the prog doesn't actually do anything... could be because the server is busy?

i just went to the link posted in the announcement and downloaded the "System Tray and Viewer" latest version for XP.

I'm on a Dell Optiplex 755 running XP Pro SP 3.

It got worse, I'd click on the tray icon and it would pop up with the "UserName/Team Number/Password" box. I'd click on the box, it would hesitate and then blink away, then pop up again in a few seconds.

It seems like it's just a really cheap app. It acts like a noob programmed it.

Okay.. I hate that version, but have you tried a reboot?

Um, how goods your cmd line knowledge? as thats the more stable version, and you can set it to just chug away in a ms-dos type window.

But try re-installing the program.

What video card do you have?

i haven't rebooted yet, i'm pretty good with CMI but i hate it (like math, good at it but i hate it)

is there a diff kind of client?

Yes, there is a windows console version. I am running two uniprocessor console clients on my laptop and they work pretty well.
