how to fold with CPU properly?

eh i give up...i tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the cmd prompt stuff just randomly stops at points and won't let me continue

if it's this hard to help people i would rather continue what i was doing (which is nothing)

i remember what it was

i tried doing the -smp thing where you use command prompt but could never get it to work so i used the other one...this time i removed everything and tried the -smp again

To run smp you need the other packages... and its much different than uni core. Smp % take 30 plus minutes to do.. even my uicoe takes 30min easily...

The smp requires deino or mpich that comes with the smp d/l.

Qare you running 64bit? as you can only use the mpich one.

Also, the main program expired... did you update it to 6.24?

okay i'm starting to get confused now :| do I have to download more than 1 programs for this to work?

I am running 64bit. I DID download the mpich one and try to install it. But that's it. Is there another program that I need installed for this to work?

No.. mpich d/l will have everything. BUT you will need to update the core file, as it expired 2 months ago, and they haven't added it to the download.... this if you want to run smp.
