Default question....

why when u buy a compaq and throw a radeon 9800 it never over heats and the only fan u have is from the power supply, but when u have a custom pc u have to have 7 fans upgrade cpu fan why is that????

you don't have to...people who build there own pc's often choose to cool it because most of them want to overclock them

compaq's are not meant to be overclocked..that's why there are less fans

yup no ocing = less heat, brand name comps never oc and usually try to keep u from doing it too by locking it in their bios.

not sure wut ur saying, can ur mobo come already oced? Not that i know of, u can check by going into bios and looking at the multiplier and external clock freq. time these together and they should equal wut ur cpu's default speed is, if ur cpus speed is 2.4 ghz then it should end up being 2400 as ur answer
