windows overclocking isnt as reliable as doing it from BIOS

Core 2 Duo E6400, DFI Infinity 975X/G, 2x 512mb DDR2 667mhz, Albatron 7900gt, WD 200gb SATA, Samsung DVD-RW, Silverstone ST-50EF 500w PSU.

Core Center shouldnt have made it jump like that..... It increase's it by 1mhz and lets it run for 15 seconds, then increase's again, it will keep going till you tell it to stop.

Nubius ~ sweet :P I totally stink at ps. But Ill give it a try

waynejkruse10 ~ My BIOS boots up really slow O.o so I figured why not try Core Center :P

charles_scott ~ It did do that, go 1 by 1. Then my machine rebooted( I guess it got to hot) then when it was back online, I went to core center to see whats up and it was set at 215
