Default Load time Problems

Recently I have experienced load time problems in some software and firefox browser which I never had a problem with in the past. I am running norton 360 which eats up resources but are there any other reasons for this? And is there a way to increase performance via software or hardware tweaks? Please any input is valued.

Default Re: Load time Problems

Well, running Norton just slows down the system overall.

My computer uses 1.5A-load, .8A-idle, .65A-standby, .05A-turned off on 125V.
