Default Dual core patch

Have there been any patches released by either AMD or Microsoft to improve dual-core systems? What I mean by this is like a stability patch or a preformance patch? Any help would be great!

Yeah, sometimes in games you can get disconnected or lag, but that update should fix it.

Thank you so much gaara. That made a big difference! The first thing i noticed was the boot up speed was a lot faster.
