2 sound cards??help!

hello i had a question is there anyway to run 2 sound cards i have one sound card that came built into my mobo. then i have a sound card thats is built for sound mixing E-mu 1212 is the sound card. the mobo is asus A7N8X-E Deluxe. let me know if there is any way i can run one for my games and one when i do the sound editing

I don't think you can do that. When you install a soundcard it disables the onboard sound. The same with onboard video. Why would you want to do that? I would think if the card is made for mixing then it would need to have a great sound quality. Why not just use that one.
