i have a laptop and cd-rom is out of order. i bought a 5.25 external box to use pc cd-rom. I will reinstall win xp, and os is win xp at the moment but i will reinstall anyway. But i can not find a bootable disc files to boot the laptop from A. i can not boot from cd due to box is connected to laptop from usb port. So i can not boot from cd rom. i am searching bot no result. Is it important my using os at the moment. Cause i found a rar file. It says for win 98 but i can not boot with it. pleaseee help..
by the way, i have a home network. can i install win through network? can i start installing from other computers cd rom?
