key stroke logger?

A friend of mine thinks he has been hacked and has a key stroke logger thingy on his computer. Some guy he plays this game against started posting all of his passwords on their chat forum after my friend went to his site. Is there any way to check? What can be done?

Windows should have an annoying bubble (only this time it is actually useful) that will pop up and say "your computer has a key logger on it" or something like that. unless of course he has disabled the bubbles in the registry.

I used to have a key loggger on my PC (purposely put there) and windows didnt have any bubbles. I wouldnt trust it.
