i am having trouble installing windows on my new pc i just built it keeps freezing on me all the time whats the cause of this how can i fix this situation

Is the CD scratched?

How is the HD? Is it a cheap one?

Where does it freeze, at the part where you create your partitions and format or the next part where Windows is actually installing and telling you about it's features?
