Hard drive selction

Alright well I desperatly need to get rid of my 40g hard drive and upgrade to a 120 or 160 gig. Tiger direct is doing a great deal on a 120 seagate sata(50.00 after rebate) Are these hard drives good? What would you reccomend. Im looking for sata at least 120 gigs. Thanks

id rather go to newegg.com and look at the 160 gb they are selling for only $93!! i bought my 120 for $99 (from newegg).
but its ok, newegg still ROCKS!

hmm i dont think its SATA though, n the buffer is only 2mb. however its still 160gb!

As it's sort of related, is the performance vs. price worth it in the 10,000rpm harddrives vs the 7200 ones? I mean, the WD Raptors are nearly 3 times the cost at the moment for slightly less space. Would now be a good time to buy, or is it better to wait for it to become more popular and thus cheaper?
