SOOO looking over this any computer buffs got any comments? Good choices? Good recommendations? Bad experience with a computer part? Etc, any help would be appreciated..

I would get a 7900GT for the graphics card.

If you want a cheaper PSU, get the Fortron 450w.

I would also pay extra to get the SLI premium board.

I like the case choice, but you don't want to use PSU's that come with cases, except for a few excpetions. I would however suggest getting an Opteron 165 and OCing it, because you chose some pretty good overclocking ram.

OCing it would make it faster than an OCed 3800 X2, so it will be good for the money.
I dont think you need the Raptor, its way too **** expensive and not too much faster than an SATA drive.

hdd!

no no no no

if you want a raptor, get a 32 gig raptor then get a big (250-300 gig) storage drive... 72 gigs is not much at all

Static_11 - That's smart. I might do that

@better PSU - Yeah, I was told that other places as well, at this point its pretty obvious to me to get a better power supply.

@turtile - Why not 7800? Big difference? I think the 7900 is a lot more expensive not sure, can you shed some light in this area for me?

@turtile - Can you give me a good link to an SLI prem board?

thanks guys for your input thus far :)

Why Opteron 165 over the one I picked out? Just overall better for 30 more bucks?

The difference I noticed is the one i picked out was 2x 512kb cache but also 64 bit versus Opteron 165 not being 64 bit. I plan on this comp being my computer for a long time, do you still recommend the Opty?
