P4 OC Question

Well i just got a new heatsink (scythe ninja) and my temps are better than before(wish i had a nice cool AMD but... stuff happens). Used to get 60C on load now i get about 52C or so. Specs are below. I kno prescotts tend to run hot but i also saw their really good at OCin. But in BOIS, the CPU multiplyer is set at 14x. How do i change it or is their another multiplyer that i change. I kno i dont need to change the multiplyer until my RAM starts gettin unstable but i'm goin to start OCin soon and i would just like to kno.

and also for the Prime95 torture test, what do i set it at or do i leave it alone?

you can only change the multiplier downwards and believe me that won't help you get your ram stable. i think you are confusing dividers with the multiplier. not all boards have dividers so you may have to either buy some expensive DDR500/550/600 ram or use voltage and looser timings to stabilise your current ram

Yea divders... thats it. I dont think my board has a divider i looked all over BIOS for one and couldnt find one. I'm only plannin to OC from 2.8 to around 3.0-3.2. Whats a program to test my RAM? I have Prime95, does that test RAM too? also how do i see my RAMs speed? CPU-z or some sort of program like that?

i'm not sure how good that g.skill is for overclocking but some decent DDR400 can handle the necessary speed for 3.2ghz, its roughly DDR460/230mhz.

I've been workin on wire management today and tomorrow i'm pickin up some rounded IDE and floppy cables. I'm still messin with some of my fans seein if i can mount some in the extra 5.25" drive bays.
