Upgrading Mobo,CPU,Memory~

Hi, going to upgrade my Mobo,CPU, and memory and just wondering if i forgot something that i need to do

Motherboard CPU
Memory

Remove PSU
Install Mobo
Install cpu then heatsink and thermal pad
install memory

I'm not going to reformat my hdd so i know i have to unistall drivers but i duno how to do that : / just through device manager or what but the second you unistall drivers wouldnt it crash? HELP! lol

im asking a similar question, i replaced my mobo cpu & ram & xp SP2 wouldnt boot, how do you prevent that?

Its recommeded to Reinstall windows when do a mojar hardware change, it just makes everything 10x easier

That board is PCI-X so make sure your video is also PCI-X.

Sometimes you might be able to boot into safemode and quickly install the new drivers of the mobo cd. Windows would be much slower than if you did a fresh install.

EDIT: gimli of gloin, PCI-X is totally different than PCI Express (for video cards). Don't get them confused. Call PCI Express PCI-e

Its not pci-x its pci-e Gimli, and you dont have to talk down to me
