I very need help with this one, i just bough a new HP desktop pc for christmas, but it come with winxp media center english version, which i don't very like it so i decide to format hard drive (200GB), and finall i install the winxp home edition, every thing are running fine but it does not have sound ! i only have a VGA connection to connect to motherboard, and the motherboard look like have no sound card. finally here is my problems:
1. how do i format a 200GB by use fdisk and install a fresh windows, i don't like the winxp media center, i can't just install the winxp home.
2. when i finally install the winxp home, every thing works fine but have no sound, computer can't detect any sound devices
anyway, i use fdisk to format the disk and i can only use 100 GB because the fdisk can't detect the whole hard drive, that means i can left around other 100 GB space some where i can't see and can't use.
