GPU...i'm pretty sure. do you have another card you can try? i know you don't have an onboard one, but maybe you have one lying around...somewhere...? anyways, the GPU is probably overheated or an electric "pulse" probably damaged the card while you were turning it off. i forgot that exact word to describe the "pulse", so any correction are welcomed.

i find it strange that after you removed and re-installed the card it worked fine for a while and then crashed again. :/ seems to suggest there could be life for it yet.
