I'm looking at a hard drive on e-bay, "SpinPoint P Series, 160GB 7200RPM 8MB CACHE" that comes installed in a Gemini Coolmax case.
I have read that there's a lot of difference in the quality of such cases. Can anyone tell me if this would be satisfactory? I'm on my computer about ten hours a day, and I'll use this for my primary data file storage, and to store images from my digital camera. I plan to use my internal hard drive primarily for the OS, applications, and temporary backups so when it crashes I won't have to worry about backups for the last day or so.
