Dell Latitude C600 Question

Acquiring this laptop from a friend, has 256MB ram, but crucial.com says it can support 512MB (with two dimm sockets), but they only sell 128mb dimms?

Anyone have one of these and knows what the deal is?

Crucial is recommending only pc100 sticks, when in reality your laptop is compatible with pc100/133 (pc133 memory just clocks itself down). Its pretty much the same deal with my Compaq Armada e500 and Inspiron 8100. Any 128mb or 256mb so-dimm on this page will be fine:

Nope, I bought them (2x 256MB PC133) and they didn't work...next time i'll take advice on this board more carefully

oh, my bad. RMA them and see if you can buy straight from Dell, usually you can buy calling their Spare Parts Hotline, the number is on their website.
