a coupla weeks ago i purchased a asus a7v400mx se motherboard, before that i was using the asrock k7s8xe motherboard. here is my complication ok using the asus motherboard gave me a cpu tempereture of 55 degrees as minimum whilst the asrock gave me a maximum of 50, so i switched to the asrock fora while and switched back to the asus, how ever now my cpu is running at 67 degrees, this is running nothing if i want to run games my cpu will reach approxiamtely 80 degrees and freeze or shut down, i know its not a fan problem because i used the same fan on the other mobo and it works fine and it runs at about 3300 rpm on both motherboards therefore i have no idea wats rong with it

thank you in advance

no i did not, i just merely transfered it over, but if thermal grease is the problem how come wen i transfer it over to the asrock it runs fine and much cooler

sometimes the bios gives wrong read outs. you may need to do a bios flash. and put thermal paste on it lol
