urget please help me

my asus mobo cane only have 1 gig of PC3200
Cane it be the same with urs.

i have to go down to PC 2700 to use all 3 slots.
And it dident say any about that in the specs.
but in the manual it was this aproved list for PC3200 and ther was only 2x512 or 1X1024.

the socket 754, 939 and 940 CPU's don't have the memory controller, the CPU does, so I'd say it might be that the Sempron's memory controller might be restricted to 512MB. I'll just check on that.

nope, there are Sempron systems with 1GB of RAM

well ive singled it down to the mobo its self, ive tryed pc 2700 and pc 2100 ram and ive tryed various between 1 gig to 256 and minimal 64 and yet no progress, it will boot to the evga logo from the mobo and then shutdown, im guessing it shuts down because it is trying to save my hardware. so i had my friend try my ram in his computer, it works fine, so imma go to tiger and buy a new mobo and try it then, but i dotn see why my mobo currently used to boot up, and now it doesnt also will newegg exchange or give me my money back if i RMA it? for faulty dimm slot?
