Replacing Video card heatsink

I believe copper conducts heat faster and aluminum dissapates (sp) it better. See how the contact point is copper and then it has aluminum fins to dissapate the heat? So take that into consideration when you're buying it.
 
The copper version cools better yes. I have it and I highly reccomend it. It's only slightly more expensive that the AlCu also.
 
would you guys recommend the thermal take venus 12 for around 36 dollars from newegg? cause the i wish i can use the 7700cu but its not compatible with my mobo, so whats the best heatsink i can get for a msi k8n neo2 plat. i will be OCing, and i am Ocing but im getting around 35C idle which is warm to me
 
and how hard is it to replace a video card heatsink...i have no clue how to

i had no clue how to build my own computer and look how it turned out..*computer burst into flames bringing whole house down*...i didnt do it
