well...it said ambient was like 40 and i had temps or like 39 or 38:| this is just in the nvidia display thing mind you

Like I said, it's against the laws of physics

Sub-Ambeint temps = condensation build up on the block and GPU which without protection = dead card.

You would need to get the ambient temperature of the room your in with a real thermometer, not go by whatever the case temp was reading because after all those sensors are off in more cases than none
