a lot of boards have the HTT Link speed multi set to auto, so once you start going above the normal 200HTT, it'll adjust itself below 5x.......yours would be a total motherboard HTT of like 2660 which wouldn't even be running and would be a world record 
so chances are it's lowered itself........if you can't raise Vcore you're stuck...........get rid of that crap ASUS board and go with DFI
