Well maybe with the cut in the price from 159 to 79 I can save a tid bit more for a better video card, or maybe something else to the list? What would you guys recommend for video card? I was looking at the geforce 6600gt, was 159 on newegg.

Or like diablo said and make me your own list for me bang for buck from around 400-500 bucks.

You can get an Athlon 64 2800+ for $112. That is still less than your first list there with the XP 3200. I would try to get something from the A64 series personally.

This is still in your price range and would be a nice step up IMO. Then just put in either one of those vid cards until you can afford the 6600GT, which will be a HUGE boost.

yeah, i agree with idiotec. Also, try to get the 6600GT its worth it.
