A lot of times the delete key send you to bios setup. Carniva is correct you need to boot from your cd.
 
If need be find your mobo manufacture and get directions on booting to the bios. I think previous post is a good shot though, mine is del.

Also, if the version of XP you have is a copy it might NOT be bootable. If you create a copy you need to rebuild the boot sector for it to work. If that wasn't done it won't boot. You could always try creating a new boot disk and use that.
 
Ignore what hes telling you, thats not going to work. What you need to do is take the cover off your pc. Then carefully remove the motherboard, find the serial express variation number located on the biggest chip. Then write this number onto a floppy disk label and put it in the PC. This will enable you to boot up the gigabytes on the D:.

What are you on about???? whats that going to achieve....i really dont think he/she needs to start stripping there pc down
