My Network

I had my first experience with networking. I bought a 5 port hub, and a friend gave me 12 metres of Cat 5 in 4 lengths. I hooked together a Axp 2200+, P233mmx, p3-Celeron 550mhz. This network is being used for Counter Strike, Age of Empires etc. Over new years eve, me and a friend played counter strike until 3am. Also, the whole cost of the network was $50 and its going to be a blast on my birthday

thats awesome we hav a network here use it mainly 2 share internet (adsl), movies, music.

Kewl, but CS won't run very well on 233MHz. I know from experience

The p233mmx is mainly used for adedicated server for CS, but i can still play Age of Empires, and warcraft 2, on it.

Currently im building a P3 550, 256mb Pc133, Riva TNT 2 32 (AGP) for the network
