new build case question

ok just bought a new case that has a built in lcd screen in the front
anyway the screen shows gpu, HD, and cpu temps it has probes for each one
my question is where do i put these probes
mainly where on the gpu and HD
i have a radeon 9800 pro stock cooling, do i have to take the heatsink off of the gpu?

try just sticking the probe in between the heatsink ans pcb of the vidcard, if you can't then put it on bottom of the gpu on the pcb side and just stick it there with some electrical tape, for the hdd just put it anywhere you like proabably near the motor which is on the bottom in the middle of the drive. that won't work if you have a socket 939 or 940 cpu because there is no room in the middle for it.
