xfx 7770 1gb vs xfx 7870 2gb noticeable upgrade?

Getting a xfx 7870 2gb video card for 100. I want to know will it be a noticeable increase we on performance game wise? Thx in advance. I went to the hwcompare and it quite kills the 7770 in performance. Just want opinions.
