Help Formatting Asus laptop

So my Asus laptop has started to slow down, and i don't really have anything worthwhile on it, so I've decided to format the hard drive. My question is, other than personal stuff music, pictures, ext., what should I back up before i format it. I know that saving the drivers would be a good idea, what else would be smart to save?

Besides personal data, nothing. You always want to get the latest drivers online. The drivers you have now may be an old version. You can't really save programs, as how deep the system files go in.

Thanks for the info, and the guide. I have heard that the windows Formatting System leaves a lot to be desired. So that will come in handy. Thanks a lot.
