Hi everyone,

For the passed month or so, my computer has been freezing up randomly. It will just completely freeze up and become unresponsive and I have to power off or hit the reset button to make it work again. This happens about once a week.

My CPU is a Pentium 4 3.2 Ghz and MB is an Asus P5ND2-SLI. According to the Asus PC Probe utility, my CPU is running at about 42 degrees C and the MB is at about 45 degrees C.

Are these temperatures normal? I'm suspecting that my CPU is running too hot and causing the system to freeze up...

Any advice would be appreciated.

The temperatures look fine
But I'd suggest to uninstall that Asus PC Probe utility, as sometimes it can cause issues

Also download and run > CCleaner

Then run a > Memtest on your Ram

Thanks. This is a hard thing to troubleshoot because it only happens once in a while...
