I have a laptop with a t7500 Core 2 duo processor, which according to Intel, is capable of Intel VT (hardware virtualization). Problem is, the option is unavailable, and there is no way to turn it on thru the Acer BIOS. There are no upgrades through Acer. Does anyone know of a compatible BIOS I can replace the ACER one with? Acer support claims they make their own motherboards, and so I don't know how to tell what make and model is closest to mine in order to get a third party BIOS. Preferably with one I can enable hardware virtualization.
I should add that I have tried such programs as SANDRA and EVEREST to get information on my motherboard, but to no avail.
