Default Re: Need Help Choosing Parts for New Computer

Mobo: - GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX All Solid Capacitor Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

Video Card: - MSI N9600GT 512M OC GeForce 9600GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics

Processor: - Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 Allendale 2.4GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - CPUs / Processors

Memory: - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

Case: - Rosewill R5717-P BK 120mm Fan ATX Mid Tower Computer Case withTool-Free kits - Computer Cases

PSU: - Thermaltake Purepower RX W0144RU ATX12V / EPS12V 600W Power Supply 115/230 V CE, FCC, UL, CUL, TUV, and BSMI certification - Power Supplies

And then whatever Harddrive and DVD drive you want. 612 bucks before shipping. For 800-1K, you could get a (lot) better processor than what I listed, and also wait for the 9800 series of video cards.
