i just bought the ATI Radeon 9200 ($69 after rebate) and i must say its a very nice card if you are the average gamer. If you're one serious gamer, look for something else. But for $70, I don't think I can ever complain.

Well, I am going to save up and buy a higher-end graphics card at the end of th emonth. Wish me luck!

9000 isnt as good as the 9200

Ofcourse the 9000 is not as good as the 9200, it's alot better!

"""Conclusion:
As shown by the benchmarks, the regular Radeon 9200 cannot beat a Radeon 9000 Pro even though it has AGP 8x. Had there been a Radeon 9000 non-pro in the office for benchmarking, the scores would have been within 2% of the FIC A92. With these scores, its a viable upgrade for owners of a GeForce 2 MX who are looking for another budget gaming card to replace their budget gaming card from 2 years ago, but not too many other people.

As the Radeon 9200 performs worse than the 9000 Pro and 9100 families, those two cards are a better buy on a per dollar basis."""

Here is another article where a 9000 slaughters a 9200:

ATI is smart, they discontinued the 8500, 9000 and 9100 series which performs better overall than the cheaply made 9200.

I recommend a Ti4200 for budget or a 9800 Pro for mid-gaming.

Wow thansk for the information. I might even consider getting a 8500 now since it shows its better than 9000. :S

fofoo, save up a bit more and just get the ati 9600 or a gforce fx 5600, they will be better then the ones you looked at.
