do a lot of research and find a system your happy with. ive mainly used Intel in the past but am currently using a AMD athlon x2 6000+ and loving it. im going to say athlon or intel both make good processors, either way you will be safe. I recomend either gigabyte or ASUS motherboards, im very happy with my gigabyte S3 mobo myself. vid cards are a lot of personel preference, a lot of people like nvidia, I personally have always used ATI and been extremely happy with them, they have always performed better then advertised, and I will always use ATI. my advice is do your research, read the reviews, and read the customers reviews as well, and look at the specs and find a system that your happy with. in the end thats whats important, not what everyone else thinks but one that your happy with.
