best floor for computer?

The flip side to the coin is that with tile and hardwood floors, theres nothing to keep the mounds of pet fur from freely making their way into every moving piece of electronics you own.

The 'roaming pet hair' is the reason that much to my lady's displeasure, I made my office a closed door, no-pet zone.... lol. That, and they like to attack the power cords. They tore up her laptop charger cord a few days ago. Still waiting on the replacement.

Unfortunately laminate floor is quite expensive, so it did not quite make it to the computer room.

However, the livingroom has a new laminate floor, and is very big. Static proof. So I can do all my computer assembly in the livingroom!
